Description
A completely dreamt up royal seal for the Turgonian Empire from the Emperor's Edge book series by Lindsay Buroker.
(This is not official, just my version of what things could look like!)
- Created for use on wanted poster (see Sicarius poster here)
Although it is hidden, the statue I used has no head
but I couldn't work that into the final design. The lack of head (or the stump 
) is covered over by the crest of the crown. The use of a statue in the seal will be obvious to everyone that has read the books. The angle of...things.. was my choice 
Note the lopped off head (not grapes!) and the bleeding corpse. (the REAL statue used as reference can be found by searching "Perseus Medusa" on google images).
The crown is also fictional and incorporates (I hope), the primitive origins of the Empire, the war-like nature and a certain amount of aggressive posturing.
